“Amidst Traffic,” authored by award-winning Army journalist Michel Sauret, has been named Finalist in the Short Story – Fiction category of the 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

The Next Generation Indie Book Awards is the largest Not-for-Profit book awards program for indie authors and independent publishers. In its sixth year of operation, the Next Generation Indie Book Awards was established to recognize and honor the most exceptional independently published books in 60 different categories.

The book will be listed as a Finalist in the 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards catalog which will be distributed at Book Expo America (“BEA”) in New York later this month to thousands of attendees including book buyers, library representatives, media, industry professionals, and others.

“Amidst Traffic” is a collection of interconnected short stories with a theological undertone and a literary flair. The collection was recently selected for Editor’s Choice, Highlighted Title by Independent Publisher and received the Indie Reader Approved stamp by IndieReader.com. The title has been featured in the Pittsburgh City Paper, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and on 101.5 WORD FM.
